Expanding My Corporate Footprint

Corporate events are night and day from weddings. It’s super interesting to compare the two experiences as a DJ. I find corporate events to be insanely diverse, not only in the age ranges of attendees but in the variety of work people do. You have everyone from the new interns to the tenured C-suite executives coming together as a big melting pot. Their talents and life experiences vary drastically. While one employee might be completely customer facing, another team member could be managing millions and deciding the financial future of an organization. This diversity also translates into their music preferences. To me, the challenge of finding songs that are enjoyed by every type of attendee is the fun and exciting part.

Recently, I’ve been fortunate enough to have had more opportunities with corporate clients and I’m loving it. So much so that I’ve separated out my website into weddings and corporate to help each type of client navigate my offerings better. It’s been really rewarding to expand this area of my business, both professionally and creatively. From touring new sites and convention centers to connecting with businesses and building lasting relationships, I’m looking forward to seeing how this new facet of my company continues to evolve.
